If you are shopping for a new water heater and have time to plan your next water heater purchase, Danville Utilities Home$ave is offering rebates to help our customers slash water heating costs dramatically by installing a heat pump water heater. With Danville Utilities Home$ave, residential electric customers are eligible for a $100 mail-in rebate for each new qualifying heat pump water heater purchased.

Heat pump water heaters that replace an existing unit as well as new construction units are eligible for a rebate through a post-purchase application process. Home$ave rebate applications are valid for 90 days after product purchase. After 90 days, the equipment is no longer eligible for rebates from Danville Utilities.

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate Level
Rebates are available for heat pump electric water heaters with a FHR greater than or equal to 50 gallons per hour and an EF greater than or equal to 2.0. The rebate for qualifying heat pump electric water heaters is $100 per unit.
