Prescription Drug Take Back Event

Rates of prescription drug abuse in the U.S. are alarmingly high, as are the number of accidental poisonings and overdoses. Studies show that a majority of abused medications are often obtained from family and friends and the home medicine cabinet. Additionally, Americans are now advised that the usual methods of disposal pose potential safety and health hazards, but help is here at last!

Do you need to dispose of expired or unused medications?
Make plans now to participate in the next DEA sponsored Prescription Drug Take Back Event. You can safely rid your home of expired or unused medications and protect yourself and those around you from medication theft, accidental overdoses, poisonings, and even death. The Danville Police Department will be collecting expired or unused medications with no questions asked Saturday October 22, 2016 from 10 am until 2 pm

Danville Collections will take place in the parking lot of KARE Pharmacy located at 411 Park Ave.
