Room AC unit rebates are available on qualifying equipment purchased on or before December 31, 2015.
ENERGY STAR-qualified room air conditioners use about 10% less energy than standard models, which could mean a savings of more than $60 over the lifetime of the unit. Additionally, ENERGY STAR-qualified room air conditioners often include more features, such as timers, digital displays, remote controls and directional vents, all to help save you energy and money on your air conditioning costs!
Danville Utilities Home$ave wants to help you add ENERGY STAR room air conditioners to your home by offering rebates to make them more affordable!
Residential electric customers are eligible for a mail-in rebate of $25 for the purchase of a qualifying ENERGY STAR Room Air Conditioner by submitting a Rebate Application with required proof of purchase.
Equipment should be purchased on or after July 15, 2012. Home$ave rebate applications are valid for 90 days after product purchase. After 90 days, the equipment is no longer eligible for rebates from Danville Utilities.
Equipment Eligibility & Rebate Level
For ENERGY STAR-qualified room air conditioners, the rebate is $25 per unit. Rebates are available for ENERGY STAR room air conditioners that are greater than or equal to 8,000 BTU.
