The ultimate Children’s Festival returns with interactive arts and entertainment. Explore new ideas, see stories come to life or discover the artist in you while participating in art and many more activities. Free admission, crafts and children’s rides. Food concessions and other vendors will have items available to purchase.
More information will be posted about the 2020 event schedule as it is confirmed.
Activities -Aerial Trapeze Academy Experience, Scrap Exchange Make-n-Take program, Fish the Magish, uRace Simulator, Caricatures, Center for Pediatric Therapies Sensory Tent, Danville Fire Department Fire Safety House, bubble bumpers, corn pools, slime station, and more! The Danville Science Center will offer free admission to the museum thanks to The Hughes Center.
Splash Zone - The Splash Zone will feature the fun wagon, a water slide, kiddie pools with water toys, and a sand pit. Flip flops are not permitted in the Splash Zone. Free tubing trips as well, weather permitting. Those wishing to participate should go to the Splash Zone when they first arrive to sign up. They will put in at the Carrington Pavilion and will get out of the river at Dan Daniels Park. A Parks and Recreation van will transport participants back to the Carrington Pavilion once the trip is complete. Tubing is for ages 8 and up.

Volunteers Needed - If you would like to be a volunteer for the Children’s Festival, call Taylor at (434) 793-4636 to sign up. Volunteers are needed to help with all areas of the event. All volunteers are subject to a background check.
