Internet Services

Danville Public Library offers free wireless access at the Ruby B. Archie branch location.

The wireless network is called "Public Internet." There is no password.

The library's wireless network is not secure. Information sent from or to your device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and the appropriate software.

No guarantee can be provided that you will be able to make a wireless connection. The library assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for laptop configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the library's network.

The Library provides computers with Internet access.

To use an Internet computer, you must see staff at the desk. They'll assign you a computer that has been cleaned and is socially distanced. There, you'll log on with your own valid library card and PIN. You may use these public computers up to 1 hour each day. Children 12 and under may use a public computer only under the direct and continuous supervision of an adult.
