Neighborhood Watch

Forming a Neighborhood Watch
When crime and the fear of crime threaten the well-being of a community, the people of that community become afraid to use their streets and parks. When this happens, people and the businesses they support gradually leave.

You and your neighbors can prevent or break this vicious cycle and in the process you can build your community into a safe, friendly, and productive place. Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that utilizes the active participation of citizens in cooperation with law enforcement to reduce crime in their communities.

Get involved by joining a Neighborhood Watch, starting a new one, or reinvigorating an older one. For more information, contact Corporal T.B. Scearce at 434-797-8898.
