Motorists in Danville may encounter detours at three railroad crossings due to maintenance by Norfolk Southern. Weather permitting, the repairs will take place from Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21.
The crossings scheduled for maintenance are as follows:
• Monument Street
• Lynn Street,
• Halifax Road
The city of Danville Public Works Department urges drivers to use extreme caution when approaching an area of construction and to be aware of workers in the work zone.
