Engines from Industrial Ave,the airport,and the engine and ladder from the Bridge St station along with (3) support vehicles responded to a structure fire at 1217 Forest St.The first arriving officer reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the eaves of the one story dwelling.Two attack lines were pulled and the fire was extinguished in about ten minutes.The dwelling sustained heavy damage and all occupants were out of the structure.Two animals (a cat and dog ) were pulled from the structure and were resuscitated and their were no injuries reported.Units remained on the scene for an hour and forty five minutes.(18) firefighters responded to this alarm.Cause of ignition was unattended cooking.
