Agostino and Brandi Pugliese announced plans today that 316 Cibo will soon become Dell’Anno’s Pizza Kitchen. Located at 316 Main St., this new concept will offer a variety of soups, salads, pizza-by-the-slice and other Italian favorites. The Puglieses plan to close 316 Cibo on Saturday, Oct. 12, and will reopen after renovations are made to the building.
The Puglieses anticipate that this change will improve customer service by reducing wait time for food and will help lower costs associated with running a restaurant. One measure of cost savings will be the ability to share marketing expenses with the main branch of Dell’Anno’s, which is located in Brosville Station on Highway 58 West.
“There are so many exciting developments taking place in the River District. We have certainly enjoyed being located on Main Street over the last two years and hope that the new concept will draw a larger audience to come visit this district, especially in the evenings since we will be open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.,” said Agostino Pugliese.
“The City is very supportive of the Puglieses’ plan to convert 316 Cibo into Dell’Anno’s Pizza Kitchen,” said Corrie Teague, project manager for the Office of Economic Development. “This change will help diversify the restaurant offerings in the River District and will add to the nightlife in this area.”
The Puglieses plan to open Dell’Anno’s Pizza Kitchen on Monday, Oct. 21. Please look for updates regarding this opening from the Danville Office of Economic Development. For more information about the River District, please visit www.riverdistrictnews.blogspot.com.
