Upon arrival the first arriving Engine found smoke coming from the windows of a mobile home. Upon investigation a fire was found in the kitchen of the home. Firefighters extinguished the fire and searched the home for victims and fire extension. The occupant was out of the home upon the fire department's arrival and was treated at the scene and transported to DRMC for non-life threatening injuries by the DLSC. The home suffered extensive fire damage to the kitchen area with heat and smoke damage to other interior areas. It was determined that improper use of cooking equipment caused the fire.
