Danville Utilities has canceled a planned electric outage previously scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, in sections of Main, Market, Union and Spring streets.
Customers who would have been affected by the cancelation have been notified.
The outage will be rescheduled for a future date. The outage will allow for the installation of new conductors and connection changes for the downtown vault upgrade project.
