Danville Police responded to a call of a robbery in the 900 block of W. Stokes Street this afternoon.
At approximately 4:00 PM, Danville Police responded to a reported robbery in the 900 block of W. Stokes Street. The suspect went to a residence, produced a black handgun and demanded money from the resident. The resident refused and was able to flee from the residence and call 911. The suspect was described to be a black male, approximately 40 to 50 years of age, 5”11 to 6” tall, wearing a green shirt. The victim was not harmed in this incident.
The police investigation is continuing.
