The City of Danville will hold a dedication ceremony next week for its propane autogas fueling station. The station will serve the City’s vehicles that are being converted to propane autogas. Propane conversions have been installed on 10 City vehicles. Additional conversions are planned.
The ceremony will be held at noon, Tuesday, April 19, at the mass transit facility located at 998 South Boston Road. The speakers will be Mayor Sherman Saunders, City Manager Ken Larking, Transportation Services Director Marc Adelman and Public Works Administrative Division Director Barry Doebert.
A fueling demonstration will follow the ceremony.
