A Danville woman is in jail following an aggravated assault that occurred yesterday evening.
At approximately 10:34 pm yesterday Danville Police responded to the Sunrise Store on South Main Street for a report of an assault. Upon arrival they discovered that a 20-year-old Danville woman sustained severe lacerations to her face following an altercation at the gas pumps. The victim was transported to Danville Regional Medical Center for treatment. The investigation led to charges being brought against Tosha Lynette Terry, age 27 of Danville for Malicious Wounding. She was arrested and is currently being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond.
