The Danville Police Department is pleased to welcome aboard six new officers who were sworn in today. As recruits, they completed their training at Piedmont Regional Criminal Justice Training Academy. The officers will soon begin their field-training as they prepare to “hit the streets” and serve our community. Chief Scott C. Booth emphasized the Danville Police Department motto “Deeds Not Words” in his remarks to the new officers. As part of this charge to them, Chief Booth said, “I know you came here not just to wear a gun and a badge, but to make a difference in our community. I need you to have that guardian mindset.” These officers represent a diverse background of culture and skills. The newly sworn officers are from left to right:
Officer Scott. A. Eanes II

Officer Erin K. Long
Please join us in welcoming these officers to the Danville Police Department.
