On 19 November 2011 at approximately 2044 hrs Danville Police responded to a shooting call at the Woodside Village apartment complex located at 1321 Piney Forest Road.
When Police arrived they found a 30-year-old male lying on the parking lot in front of the “D” building suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper right chest area. The male victim died from his wound at the scene of the shooting.
A 15-year-old juvenile suspect was developed and charges were obtained by police. The suspect is still at large.
