This morning Walter Ricardo Robinson, Jr, age 21 and DeAsia Judia Lampkin, age 22, both of Danville were arrested in connection with last night's homicide.
Shortly after 6:00 pm yesterday evening Danville Police responded to the 800 block of North Main Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival they discovered an unresponsive black female lying in a driveway suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke for an autopsy.
The victim was identified as Jordan Yasmine Sade Griffin, age 22 of Danville.
Walter Ricardo Robinson, Jr. was charged with the following:
SC 18.2-32 First Degree Murder
SC 18.2-53.1 Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
SC 18.2-280 Unlawful Discharge Firearm in City Limits
DeAsia Judia Lampkin was charged with the following:
SC 18.2-32 / 18.2-18 Accessory to Murder
Both are being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond.
