A Danville man wanted for malicious wounding where two women were stabbed on 2-26-12 is also a person of interest in a homicide that occurred recently in Augusta-Richmond County, GA.
Early yesterday afternoon, Georgia authorities found the body of a 42-year-old man with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. The body was identified as Anthony Glenn Olivet, a resident of the area. Sgt. William Leisey is the POC for this incident. He can be reached at (706) 821-1014.
Carl Garland Logan, age 30, remains at large. Incoming information suggests that Logan left Georgia and may currently be in Greensboro, NC, Charlotte, NC or in Danville, VA. The Danville Police Department is working closely with the Augusta-Richmond County Sheriff's Office to apprehend Logan. Logan is considered armed and dangerous and if spotted, he should not be approached. Anyone with information on Carl Logan's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
