At approximately 8:45 pm yesterday evening Danville Police responded to the American National Bank on West Main Street for a report of an armed robbery.
An employee of the Ballou Park McDonald's reported that she was making a deposit when she was approached by a male wearing a mask. He pointed a gun at her and demanded all of her money before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He is further described as dark skinned black male, thin build, and wearing a dark colored hoodie, gloves, and blue jeans.
The investigation is continuing.
