The City of Danville is saddened with the passing of Councilwoman Ruby Archie early on June 26th at Danville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Archie was looking forward to retiring from City Council on June 30th after 16 years of service, including two years as Mayor. Ruby Archie received accolades from her fellow Councilmembers at her last regularly scheduled City Council meeting on June 15th.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family.
