Danville Parks, Recreation & Tourism offers an array of services to meet the varied needs and interests of our City’s diverse population. Providing outdoor adventures, athletics, dance, crafts, art, instructional, cultural and after school programs and classes for preschoolers (ages 3-5), children (ages 6-12), teens (ages 13-17), adults, senior adults and citizens with disabilities.

Facilities Available to the Public

The Department also offers facilities that citizens can use during their leisure. Facilities include recreation centers, parks, trails, playgrounds, athletic facilities, therapeutic recreation center, senior citizen’s center, visitor’s center, farmer’s market, Carrington Pavilion, skate park and picnic shelters.   Maps to Facilities See our Facility Guide page for more information.
