The Danville Police Department is in the process of applying for grant funding under the FY2009 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program. The funds will be used to assist local efforts to increase wireless connectivity and to offset costs in the upgrading of equipment The amount being sought is $39,782.
