That means you’ll save money on your utility bill twice!  In addition, most ENERGY STAR® clothes washers extract more water during the spin cycle, providing further energy savings when using a clothes dryer due to shorter drying times!

With Danville Utilities Home$ave, residential electric customers are eligible for a $50 mail-in rebate for each ENERGY STAR qualified new clothes washer purchased by submitting a Rebate Application with required proof of purchase. Or, now you can apply for rebates online!

Applicability
Clothes Washers that replace an existing unit as well as new construction or first time installations are eligible for a rebate through a post-purchase application process. Home$ave rebate applications are valid for 90 days after product purchase. After 90 days, the equipment is no longer eligible for rebates from Danville Utilities. 

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate Level
For ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers, the rebate is $50 per unit. Rebates are available for ENERGY STAR® high-efficiency residential front-loading and top-loading washers. Only washers with capacities greater than or equal to 1.6 cubic feet (ft³) qualify for rebates. Washers must have a modified energy factor (MEF) greater than or equal to 2.0 and a water factor (WF) less than or equal to 6.0. All-in-one washers or washers configured in any way other than a front or top-loading design are not eligible for rebates.
