The Tourism Board shall consist of eleven members, serving three-year terms, ten of whom shall be appointed by City Council, plus an at large member appointed by the other ten members of the Tourism Board, including:

• One restaurant representative
• One hotel representative
• One Chamber representative
• One Council representative
• One museum representative
• One historic representative
• One education representative
• One media representative
• One retail representative
• One attraction representative 
• One at large representative appointed by the other ten representatives and who is a resident of the City of Danville

Functions
The Tourism Board shall act as an advisory board to the Director of Parks, Recreation and Tourism on the issues of promoting and marketing Danville’s tourism industry. The Board should coordinate its recommendations with the Director of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
