The Danville Public Library offers a wide variety of resources and services. From free Internet access to the latest bestsellers, from rare local histories to popular DVDs, the Danville Public Library strives to meet the information needs and interests of our diverse community.
My Library Account
To get to your library account, go to the Online Catalog button to the left. Once it takes you to our Catalog, click My Account on the right hand side of the screen. Log in using your Library Card number and your PIN which is the last four digits of your card number. Once you are logged in, you can renew books, place reserves, post book reviews, create book lists and more.
eBooks Are Here!
Library patrons now have access to OverDrive, the service that the Danville Public Library uses for eBooks. For more information, please visit our eBook information page, read the Tech Newsletter about eBooks, or jump in and visit the eBook website.
Library News
- Effective May 1st, the library will no longer mail paper overdue notices. Why are we doing this? To save money.
We are happy to offer three convenient ways to continue receiving information from our library:
- Email notification. Simply give us your email address.
- Text notification. Simply give us your cell phone number and provider.
- Easy access to your account via the library’s website 24/7.
