The Code of the City of Danville imposes an annual vehicle license tax on inoperative vehicles.  An inoperative vehicle is any vehicle, trailer, or semi trailer, or portion thereof, that is not in operating condition or on which there is displayed neither valid license plates nor a valid inspection decal.

The annual vehicle license tax for inoperative vehicles is currently $100 and is due and payable between May 6 and June 5 of each year.
