Danville, VA Police Department Media Releases

On 11-23-10 at approximately 6:00pm, two black males wearing black hoodies and ski mask entered Peoples Grocery, 429 Kemper Road. One of the suspects produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded the money. The clerk grabbed the suspect by the arm and a scuffle began. The unarmed suspect struck the clerk in the back of the neck with an unknown object. Both suspects then fled the business without taking any money. As a result of the investigation, warrants have been issued for 29 year old Raheem Fuquan Coles of Danville. The clerk did not require medical treatment.
